Privacy
Nothing you paste is stored. Header text you submit is analyzed in memory and discarded when the response is sent. It is never written to storage, logs or analytics, and MailAlign makes no network or DNS lookups.
That includes the addresses, IPs, subjects and message IDs inside the headers: they appear only in the response sent back to you.
What is kept:
- Daily visitor count: a one-way hash of your network address combined with a secret salt and the date, used only to count unique daily visitors (visits to the homepage and use of the API and MCP endpoint; not health checks, docs or our own monitoring). The address itself is never stored, the hash is not linked to header content, and it expires after 9 days.
- Rate limits: per-minute limits are counted by Cloudflare's rate limiter, keyed by network address (or API key), and are not stored by MailAlign.
- A running count of anonymous checks per UTC day.
- Free API keys: only a SHA-256 hash of each key, its creation date and a monthly usage count. No email, no name, no header data.
No cookies, no trackers, no analytics scripts.
